UN: What AES countries are preparing on the sidelines of the General Assembly in New York

The Alliance of Sahel States (AES) is preparing for diplomatic meetings in New York during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The foreign ministers of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger will coordinate a common speech and participate in consultations with international partners, including Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and representatives from Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. A speech on behalf of the AES will be delivered by Burkina Faso's Foreign Minister Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré.
