UNAF U20: Algeria caught up by Tunisia

In the opening match of the UNAF U20 tournament in Suez, Egypt, Algeria and Tunisia drew 1-1. Mohamed Seddik, a Lens forward, scored for Algeria in the 9th minute, but Tunisia equalized with an own goal by Mohamed Yassine Chaabani in the 30th minute. Tunisia pressed in the second half, but goalkeeper Slim Bouasker prevented a Tunisian win. Both teams are temporarily at the top of the standings in this single round-robin group qualifying for the 2027 U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
