Under Makinde, Oyo is now more economically competitive in good governance – Aduwo

Under Governor Seyi Makinde's tenure, Oyo State has undergone deliberate structural transformation, according to Mr. Olufemi Aduwo, Permanent Representative of CCDI to UN ECOSOC. Infrastructure has served as a development catalyst, connecting agricultural belts to processing centres and industrial corridors. The Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport was upgraded targeting AfCFTA opportunities. Agriculture shifted from subsistence to commercial agribusiness, and stable fiscal management enabled ambitious projects without financial distress.
