UNGA: Tinubu, family enjoy unimpeded US transit — Jimoh Ibrahim

Ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim, Nigeria's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, stated that President Bola Tinubu and his family enjoy unimpeded transit in the United States during the United Nations General Assembly. He noted that no notification of restrictions had been received from the US government and cited the 1947 UN-U.S. Agreement that protects member state representatives. Ibrahim also emphasized that criminal allegations must be proven through due process.
