UNGA: Tinubu’s cancellation of attendance sparks fresh debates

President Bola Tinubu will not attend the ongoing United Nations General Assembly in New York as previously announced. He has directed Vice President Kashim Shettima to lead the Nigerian delegation, which will include governors and ministers. Shettima will deliver Nigeria's national statement and participate in high-level meetings on strategic issues for the country and the African continent.
