UNICEF commends Taraba over education reforms

UNICEF praised Taraba State’s education reforms, including free basic and secondary education, the abolition of illegal school fees and the distribution of learning materials. UNICEF official Nuzhat Rafique said the measures had helped increase enrolment from about 760,000 to more than one million pupils.
