Uniffac 2026: “The boys are hungry and will find the back of the net in this match” (Raoul Jean-Pierre Shungu)

The Democratic Republic of the Congo’s U20 Leopards face Congo-Brazzaville’s Red Devils on Sunday, October 18, in the final group-stage match of the Uniffac tournament in Yaoundé. After a 0-0 draw against Gabon, they must win to claim first place, while Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon also drew. Coach Raoul Jean-Pierre Shungu said the team had worked on its finishing and that the players were hungry to score. The Leopards are defending champions, having won the title in Brazzaville two years ago, and the tournament qualifies teams for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
