United Kingdom issues strict travel advisory against Saudi Arabia

The UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has issued a travel advisory warning its nationals and visitors against traveling to Saudi Arabia, except for essential reasons. It advises avoiding travel within 10 kilometers of the Yemen border and specific provinces and cities including Aseer, Riyadh, Najran, Jizan, and Taif. Since July 13, Houthi missile and drone attacks have targeted various locations in Saudi Arabia, increasing risks to airports, military bases, ports, and energy infrastructure, with further attacks possible. Travelers are urged to follow safety instructions, monitor media updates, and stay sheltered during threats.
