United States: Seyni Thiam dies under tragic circumstances at Seattle-Tacoma airport

Seyni Thiam, a Senegalese man living in the United States, died on April 28 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport after experiencing a medical emergency. He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Thiam, who resided in San Diego, was in Seattle to visit his son, Adama Thiam. Following his death, the West African community is organizing a fundraising campaign to repatriate his body to Senegal and arrange for Islamic funeral services.
