Uniuyo to mount CCTV cameras, log-in biometric capturing on campuses

The University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State will introduce CCTV cameras and biometric capturing to secure the institution and determine the exact number of staff and students. Vice-Chancellor Professor Christopher Ekong announced this during his investiture. He also warned that anyone involved in cultism or sexual harassment would be expelled within 72 hours. A comprehensive institutional audit will be conducted, and facility management will be outsourced.
