UNL: Portugal could ban Ronaldo from representing national team for six months - Daily Post Nigeria

Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo could face a suspension of one to six months from the national team if found to have 'abandoned' the team, according to the Portuguese Football Federation's disciplinary code. Ronaldo left the team’s camp after a dispute with head coach Jorge Jesus over playing time. He has been replaced by Bruno Fernandes as captain, and Rafael Leao wore the No. 7 shirt during Portugal's UEFA Nations League match against Denmark.
