Urban Transport: The TER extends its network to AIBD, shuttle begins this Monday

The Senegalese Train Express Regional (TER) extends its route to the Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD) starting September 28, with a 19-kilometer extension from Diamniadio. Launched on March 5, 2022, the second phase connects Dakar, Thiès, and surrounding communes, improving access to the airport and local areas. The project was supported by multiple financial partners, and the new AIBD station features a building, a pedestrian bridge, and modern amenities for travelers.
