US ambassador urges Israel to prosecute attackers of American journalist

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee called on Israel to investigate the assault on American photojournalist Heidi Levine and prosecute those responsible. Levine was covering the annual olive harvest in Abu Falah in the occupied West Bank on Friday when Israeli settlers beat her and stole her belongings and equipment. The 64-year-old was taken to a hospital in Ramallah and underwent surgery on a nearly severed finger; she also suffered a broken rib, multiple fractured vertebrae and lacerations.
