US and Iran resume fighting, Strait of Hormuz still closed

Iran announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz after renewed hostilities with the United States, triggered by an attack on a ship. Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar called for de-escalation. Iranian attacks targeted Qatar and Jordan, and the Revolutionary Guards claimed strikes on a US air base in Qatar and on logistical bases in Oman.
