US forces disabled a commercial vessel in the Gulf of Oman after its crew ignored warnings and attempted to breach the ongoing naval blockade against Iran. A US fighter jet struck the stern of the Panama-flagged M/V Ocean Molica, fully disabling its propulsion without harming the crew. CENTCOM stated that its forces resumed the blockade on July 14, disabling four ships and turning around 135 during three months of strict enforcement, while also destroying 10 tankers linked to Iran’s IRGC shadow network.
