US House votes to halt Iran war, in rebuke to Trump

The US House of Representatives passed a measure 215-208 to halt President Donald Trump from further military action in Iran. Four Republicans joined Democrats in a rare public disapproval of the war, which began in February. The resolution still needs approval from the Republican-controlled Senate, and even if successful, it is unlikely to fully curb military action. Trump could veto the measure, requiring a two-thirds majority in both chambers to override.
