US Mission Says Consulate Relocation Project Contributes up to $100 Million to Morocco’s Economy

The US mission in Morocco announced the relocation of the Consulate General from Boulevard Moulay Youssef in Casablanca to Casa Finance City, with an estimated investment of over $300 million. The project is expected to create hundreds of jobs and contribute up to $100 million to Morocco’s economy during its construction. Visa and American Citizen Services at the Moulay Youssef headquarters will end on April 21, and the new consulate will begin operations on April 28.
