US urges citizens to ‘reconsider’ travel to Kenya after Ebola cases

The United States raised its travel advisory for Kenya from Level 2 to Level 3 after the country reported its eighth Ebola case. The first patient, a Kenyan businessman living in the DRC, returned to Kenya via Uganda and died in Nairobi on October 5; the seven other cases involve relatives and medical staff. In the DRC, the outbreak has caused 4,381 deaths among more than 9,000 cases, according to Congolese health authorities.
