USA: Man kills his wife’s lover after finding them in their marital bed with their children

On October 24, 2026, in Anaheim, California, 34-year-old Ismael Pinedalopez allegedly found Nicholas Garcia in the marital bed with his wife and their two children. He is accused of stabbing Garcia repeatedly with a pocketknife in front of the couple’s 2-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son; the wife and children were not physically injured. Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer condemned the violence and lamented that the children witnessed it. Pinedalopez has been charged with murder, with an aggravating circumstance related to personal use of a weapon, and faces up to 26 years to life in prison if convicted.
