USA: pedestrian dies after being struck by a plane during takeoff in Denver

A man died Friday night at Denver International Airport after being struck by a Frontier Airlines plane during takeoff. Flight F9 4345 reported hitting a pedestrian around 11:19 PM while accelerating for takeoff. Following the impact, one of the Airbus A321neo's engines caught fire, leading to the evacuation of 224 passengers and crew members, with twelve sustaining minor injuries. An investigation has been launched by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board to determine the circumstances of the incident.
