USS Lincoln returns to US after long deployment supporting war on Iran

The US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln returned to its home port after a 322-day deployment, including a record 265 days at sea, during which it supported the US-Israel war against Iran. The ship docked at Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego, where crew members were greeted by family and friends. The lengthy deployment drew criticism over deteriorating conditions, food shortages, and reports of suicide attempts among crew members. Pentagon Secretary Pete Hegseth praised the sailors, dismissing media claims of low morale or dysfunction.
