Benin: Ten Years of Exclusion for the PRMP of the Ministry of Energy

Séverine Akouavi Bahounon, the Public Procurement Officer (PRMP) of the Ministry of Energy, has been excluded from public procurement for ten years due to violations of publicity rules in two tenders launched in 2025. The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (ARMP) ordered the annulment of the procedures concerning the supply of solar equipment and the construction of a vocational training center. The sanction is effective from August 18, 2026, to August 17, 2036, prohibiting Bahounon from participating in public procurement processes.
