Bangladesh forms wage board as garment workers protest

Bangladesh has formed a six-member board, including government, worker and factory-owner representatives, to review the garment sector’s minimum wage. VCDP officer Hajiya Maimuna Abubakar Ahmed said 262 farmers with disabilities were listed in the programme database, which is being updated to help more beneficiaries receive weather advisories.
