2027: Opposition coalition may struggle to agree on single candidate – Ndujihe

Clifford Ndujihe, Politics Editor of Vanguard, stated that opposition parties seeking to form a coalition against the All Progressives Congress (APC) may struggle to unite behind a single presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections. While the parties could still come together, the individual ambitions of their leaders complicate the possibility of reaching an agreement. Ndujihe also mentioned a proposal for a four-year single presidential term to attract support for the coalition.
