Egypt: ‘Eternal Sun’ brings stories of Egyptian civilisation to life

The Grand Egyptian Museum launched the light show ‘Eternal Sun’ on Sunday, using dazzling projections and music on its walls to mark the first anniversary of the museum’s opening. The show brings stories of Egyptian civilisation to life and offers visitors an experience combining artefacts, narration and technology. Museum CEO Ahmed Ghoneim said the exhibition would run for six months. In its first year, the museum welcomed about five million visitors, around 60% of them Egyptian.
