Thousands join Paris protests as authorities clamp down on disorder

Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Paris for a second consecutive weekend. French authorities banned demonstrations in central areas of the capital after violence the previous weekend. Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Flávio Bolsonaro drew thousands of supporters to their final rallies ahead of Brazil’s presidential run-off.
