Northern governors mourn Bamanga Tukur

The Chairman of the Northern Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, expressed grief over the death of Bamanga Tukur, former Governor of Gongola State and former National Chairman of the PDP. Tukur, who passed away in Abuja on September 12, 2026, dedicated over six decades to public service and economic development. Yahaya praised his exceptional contributions to public administration and Nigerian politics, as well as his role in economic development in Africa.
