Vandalism at Sainte-Bernadette de Marcory: The Act Was Planned for 24 Months

Two armed individuals vandalized the statues of Saint Bernadette and Jesus Christ at the Sainte-Bernadette parish in Marcory on July 15, 2026. The main suspect, radicalized, had threatened the priest earlier that day and had planned the attack for two years. He was subdued by security guards and a police officer, while his accomplice fled.
