Vandalism: SENELEC Refers Case to the Criminal Investigations Division (DIC)

SENELEC filed a complaint with the Criminal Investigations Division following acts of vandalism and theft of equipment that occurred on September 20 in Sébikotane and Khodoba. These acts disrupted electricity supply, affecting local populations and businesses. Ibrahima Diarra Diouf, Secretary General of the Energy Workers' Union, highlighted the recurrence of these attacks, which threaten the continuity of electricity supply. SENELEC is working to enhance the security of its infrastructures, including increased video surveillance.
