Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum has directed the immediate suspension of all village and ward heads of Mallam-Fatori due to their absence during his visit. Zulum expressed concern over this situation, emphasizing the critical role of traditional leaders in stabilizing communities emerging from conflict. He also pledged to accelerate the reconstruction of essential infrastructure and to construct schools and a hospital in the area to assist returnees in rebuilding their lives.
