Video: Oyo school principal's husband dances at thanksgiving service after wife's return

The husband of rescued school principal Mrs. Rachael Alamu led a thanksgiving celebration in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, following her release. Professor Alamu danced exuberantly during the church service as the congregation sang 'Hallelujah'. Mrs. Alamu, principal of Ahoro Esinle School, was kidnapped with teachers and pupils on May 15, 2026, and remained in captivity for over 50 days. The federal government confirmed the release on Friday, and Governor Seyi Makinde visited the victims on Saturday.
