Family announces date for Toluwanisings’ Service of Songs

The family of Nigerian gospel singer Toluwanisings announced that a night of tributes and Service of Songs will take place on October 27, 2026, at 3 p.m. at Jogor Center Hall of Grace in Ibadan. The event will honour Olayemi Bayonle Bolaji, known as Toluwanisings, who died on October 14, hours after performing at Bidemi Olaoba’s praise concert. According to his personal assistant, the singer collapsed at home and died after eight hospitals in Ibadan turned him away because they lacked emergency equipment. His death has prompted social media criticism, with celebrities and others blaming the Nigerian government for inadequate healthcare provision.
