On September 1, 2026, the ministers of Social Affairs, Finance, and Employment and Vocational Training signed a decree granting a 50% reduction in tuition fees for disabled persons in public vocational training and higher education institutions in Cameroon. To benefit from this measure, learners must hold a valid disability card and be registered in the National Disability Registry. This initiative aims to facilitate access to training and improve the social and professional integration of people living with disabilities.
