Vodacom Impact Forum 2026: Mutualization of Digital Infrastructures at the Heart of Discussions

Vodacom Congo, supported by the Congolese government, organized the Vodacom Impact Forum 2026 on October 8, focusing on sustainable investment to connect the DRC of tomorrow. The forum highlighted challenges such as the digital divide, low purchasing power, and infrastructure deployment, while proposing the mutualization of infrastructures to improve digital coverage. Prime Minister Judith Suminwa reaffirmed the government's commitment to digital transformation, aiming for a digitized DRC by 2030. Participants included ministers, representatives from the Central Bank, the regulatory authority, and telecom operators.
