Ivory Coast-India: Trade Exchanges Jump to Nearly One Billion Dollars

Trade between Ivory Coast and India reached 989.6 million dollars in 2025, a 31% increase from 2024. A meeting between Ivorian Foreign Minister Nialé Kaba and Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in Abidjan strengthened economic ties, with India as Ivory Coast’s second-largest trading partner. Ivorian exports to India rose by 36%, mainly consisting of cashew nuts, wood, cotton, rubber, and cocoa, while imports from India totaled 628.8 million dollars, including rice, sugar, medicines, steel, textiles, and vehicles.
