« It hurts »: Anis Hadj Moussa finally opens up about his aborted transfer

Algerian international Anis Hadj Moussa admitted he was hurt by his failed transfer to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia last summer. After rejecting lower offers, Feyenoord's refusal to provide a bank guarantee prevented the deal from going through. Despite this setback, he bounced back by being named Eredivisie Player of the Month in September and expressed that he has moved on, having apologized to his teammates for the incident. He was also included as a substitute for the first time this season in the match against AZ Alkmaar.
