Vulture Safe Zone Alliance established for Southern African Countries

Conservation organizations from six Southern African countries have launched the Vulture Safe Zone Alliance to protect these threatened birds. The new guidelines aim to create Vulture Safe Zones where stakeholders collaborate to reduce threats to these species. Currently, these zones cover over 2 million hectares and aim to strengthen the viability of habitats for vultures in the region.
