Who is Jesús Owono, the goalkeeper involved in the collision with Jesús de Miguel?

Equatorial Guinean goalkeeper Jesús Owono, 25, plays for FC Andorra and was involved in the collision that preceded Jesús de Miguel’s death on November 3. Born in Bata, he grew up in the Basque Country and developed at Antiguoko, Real Sociedad’s youth teams and Deportivo Alavés, making his La Liga debut in 2022. After a loan spell at FC Andorra in 2025–26, he joined the club permanently on a two-year deal with an option for two more years.
