Walikale: A woman and her two children killed by lightning in Kangati

A mother and her two children were killed by lightning on September 4 in the village of Kangati, North Kivu. The victims were in their home during a heavy rain when the electric discharge struck them. The funerals took place on September 5, causing great dismay within the community. This is the first lightning-related death reported in the Waloa Yungu group.
