Walikale: clashes between two Raia Mutomboki factions cause displacement of Idipo residents

On October 9, in Walikale, North Kivu, clashes broke out between two factions of the armed group Raia Mutomboki in Idipo, pitting fighters loyal to Kalumende against those under Aimable's command. These hostilities, which started from internal disputes two weeks earlier, caused many residents to flee their homes, leaving villages in a dire humanitarian situation. The renewed violence occurs despite a peace agreement signed in July and risks worsening the socio-economic crisis in the area.
