Walikale: Farmers trained in agricultural product transformation to reduce losses and increase their income

In Walikale, over 90 farmers were trained in post-harvest management and agricultural product transformation techniques by the Women in Action project of the Jane Goodall Institute RDC. The training focused on the conservation and valorization of local productions, particularly cassava, to improve food security and diversify household incomes. Participants learned to transform cassava into various products, moving beyond traditional consumption.
