War in Iran: Egypt and Russia Advocate for a Negotiated Exit from Crisis

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty in Moscow to discuss bilateral relations and the situation in the Middle East. They expressed support for an immediate cessation of hostilities and a return to the political process. Lavrov also warned against a Bahrain resolution at the UN Security Council that could jeopardize negotiations with Iran.
