Wayne Rooney criticizes Ronaldo's departure, citing Messi as an example

Wayne Rooney criticized Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from the Portuguese national team, stating that his public message and exit were inappropriate. He compared this to Lionel Messi's farewell to the Argentine national team, which he viewed as more respectful. Rooney also condemned Ronaldo's dispute with the coach, saying Ronaldo's actions discredited the coach, affected teammates, and tarnished the federation's image. The two former Manchester United teammates played together for several seasons, winning major titles.
