Marie-Ange Mushobekwa, former Minister of Human Rights and a member of the FCC, stated that the party remains active despite repression, rejecting the notion that it is a mere shell. She condemned the illegal detentions of several leaders, including Emmanuel Ramazani Shadary and Aubin Minaku, and declared that the FCC is engaged in peaceful resistance. The FCC's political bureau currently has 45 members, and millions of supporters are active throughout the DRC.
