‘We lost six months’: Rivers ADC names the ‘only benefit’ of the Tinubu government

Chizy Enyi, the ADC’s publicity secretary in Rivers State, said the only benefit the state had received from Bola Tinubu’s administration was a six-month state of emergency, which cost residents six months of democratic rule. In a video posted on Facebook on Sunday, he accused the president of abandoning Rivers after winning the 2023 presidential election and returning to seek votes ahead of the 2027 general election. Enyi said Tinubu had not visited the state, personally or through a representative, before his recent trip. Tinubu was in Port Harcourt on Saturday for a campaign rally ahead of the January 16 election.
