Megan Fisher, the National Coloured Congress ward 7 candidate, says she reported issues to municipal officials on September 7, 2026, including leaking roofs and pipes, broken windows and faulty plugs. After submitting a requested list of 25 units needing maintenance, she says she received no meaningful feedback or reference number. The dispute has become a political issue ahead of the November 4 local government elections.
