Hundreds of flights delayed, cancelled after UK air traffic control glitch

Hundreds of flights were cancelled and many more delayed at major UK airports, including Heathrow and Gatwick, due to a technical fault at the National Air Traffic Services (NATS). Ryanair reported that over 65,000 passengers were affected by delays of up to eight hours.
