Weak institutions, poor management holding Nigeria back — Peterside

Leadership and public policy expert Dakuku Peterside identified weak institutions and poor management as major barriers to Nigeria's prosperity at the 2026 Annual National Management Conference in Lagos. He urged investment of oil revenues in education, infrastructure, and other key sectors. Peterside also warned against excessive dependence on oil, which could lead to fiscal instability.
