President Donald Trump has signed a deal with Iran to end the conflict that began on 28 February 2026. The 14-point Memorandum of Understanding is criticized for lacking detail on Iran's nuclear program. While the 2015 JCPOA limited enrichment to 3.67% and stockpile to 300 kg, Iran had 440 kg of 60% enriched uranium at the start of the war. The new deal merely reaffirms that Iran shall not develop nuclear weapons.
