Western Cape High Court convicts 'most wanted' man for police officer's murder

Ayazola Fulu, 31, also known as 'China', was convicted of murdering Constable Akho Ndzingo, a SAPS officer, during a shootout in Khayelitsha in June 2024. Fulu, who was on the 'most wanted' list, was arrested in April 2025 while appearing in court on an unrelated matter. He was also found guilty of two counts of attempted murder, possession of an unlicensed firearm, and ammunition. The Hawks in the Western Cape welcomed the conviction.
